I'm a 62 Yr old retired lady. I live in central Kansas. I'm divorced and live on just $694.00 a month.  I have 2 little dogs that have been with me for several years. We need a home.  Currently, I'm sleeping on my ex-husbands divan. I am saving $300.00 a month and the rest goes to pay for room and board, medical co-pay, personal needs, dog food, gas and insurance for my pick-up, etc.  He is moving to Illinois the first of Sept. and I have to have a place to live before then. I have done a lot of checking and found that I can live cheapest by buying a good camper trailer.  I have found several for around $6,500.00 that are in good shape and everything works in them and they are what is referred to as 4-season, so they can be lived in full time in the winter. (Winters are cold here) I have managed to save $1200.00 but that leaves me short. With what I can save by Aug it will have me up to $2100.00. That leaves me $4400.00 short plus money for tags and property and sales tax. The camper will only cost me $300.00 mo. lost rent plus my propane, to live in once I am able to by one) as the electric, water sewer and trash are included in the lot rent.  My ex-husband is giving me stuff to skirt it with like a mobile home. If there is anyone out there that can help me -- or several people that could each give me a portion of it I would greatly appreciate the help.

I'm in need of some 12 month winter girl clothes.  My daughter was in the NICU when she was born so the medical bills have made it hard to get a lot of the clothes I need.  I also have some 3-6 month winter clothes I would like to give to someone in need.

Need Help Getting Caught Up Again.

I have fallen way behind on my utility bills, I run a home daycare, which does have decent income, but I had to close down for three months while the state investigated a child I had in my care that arrived at my home with a broken arm. They finally totally cleared me, and the parent is facing abuse charges, but they almost ruined me financially while they did the whole thing. I finally had my gas shut off in July, and with winter coming I have to get it back on again!! The total bill is $786.90, but ANYTHING, anyone can do to help would be a blessing. I have three children of my own ages 10, 8, and 7. I also have my niece, also 7, and my nephew 2. I have tried and tried to get help, but no one will touch it because its so large a bill. Please I hope someone can help me.

I'm a 60 Yr. old lady with mutiple health problems living on SSI and SSDI.  My $657.00 a month pays my lot rent (electric, water, sewer and trash included in lot rent), propane for my cook stove, non-food items (paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplie etc.) and gas for my 1985 Chevy Blazer.  I hold back every month so when my Insurance, tags, dogs shots and tags are due, I have the money for that. It leaves nothing for anything else. My foodstamps pay for my food.

My home is a 1975 20' X 8' Camper parked permanantly in a camp ground at the edge of the town I live in.  It's cheaper than renting a house or an apartment, and I can keep my two little dogs this way too.  It has a kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom.  I'd love to have a longer bigger camper but I can't afford one. That would cost a minimum of $4,000.00 for a nice decent used one around here. I only paid $200.00 for the one I have. I've had to patch the roof several places.  It's thin metal and has had holes knocked in it from hail. Because of that, I've had to replace ceiling and insulation above my kitchen table, and need to do the same with my bathroom ceiling.  Rain ran in holes, soaked insulation and rotting thin ceiling paneling.

So, since I can't afford a better camper, what I need help with is to get materials to make a skirting around the bottom of my camper to block the cold winter winds from blowing underneath the camper and freezing my water lines. My forced air furnance doesn't work so I have to heat with 2 small electric space heaters. Materials needed for the skirting are 2x2 inch boards for frame work and vinyl house siding to cover frames and 1x4 inch boards to hold the sections of skirting together and in place. I don't no where to get the help.  There's a place here that helps with winterizing homes -- but they don't consider my camper a home.  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
